You can observe the traditional workshop in action and browse unique dyed souvenirs in their shop.
It is a fantastic destination for families to discover authentic Japanese craftsmanship and create your own colorful artwork in a historic setting.

When I actually tried it, making the initial shapes and patterns was quite difficult.
Also, wringing the water out of the cloth took a lot more strength than I expected.
However, the best part was not knowing what the final design would look like until we opened it up at the very end.
