Art through regional collaboration (3) Wall art on the 11th floor
At the entrance of the lobby on the 11th floor, dynamic wall art by artist Reiko Kamiyama is installed under the theme of the hotel’s concept “NEO PUBLIC HOUSE”.
This work symbolizes the space as a “new social place” and powerfully expresses the connection, bustle, and peace between people.
The concept is embodied through art so that visitors can interact with nature and spend a comfortable time.
The title of the work is “Words and Journeys on the Piano Night to Create the Forest”.

- Immediately after being born in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, he moved several times, and the first time was in Shinjuku.
After that, when I faced my future in college, it was very close to Shinjuku.
When I decided to work on painting after doing a few jobs.
The neighborhood where my life’s work journey began was Shinjuku.
I am very much looking forward to seeing paintings near the trip of people staying at the hotel.
In this painting, people gather at an atmospheric bar and talk about their lives with art and music, and a musician who appears by chance is actually playing the greenery of Shinjuku Gyoen! I imagined that.
I hope that the journey from tomorrow will bring beautiful scenery and excitement that I have never seen before.
